Context

The SuperAcordo is a digital platform focused on negotiation and debt regularization. The system connects creditors and debtors, allowing for quick and automated online agreements.

The product needed to balance three critical factors:

  • Financial clarity

  • Transparency of values and conditions

  • Reduction of user anxiety during negotiation

The challenge was to transform a dense and technical flow into a simple, secure, and conversion-oriented experience.

My Role

I worked as a Product Designer responsible for:

  • Complete redesign of the web interface

  • Restructuring of negotiation flows

  • Organization of the hierarchy of financial information

  • Creation of visual patterns and components

  • Optimization of the agreement and payment experience

The focus was to increase clarity and trust, reducing frictions that impacted the agreement completion rate.

Main Challenges

1. High emotional load

Users access the platform at a delicate moment: they are in debt.
Any visual noise or ambiguity increases insecurity.

2. Complexity of financial rules

Installments, interest, discounts, deadlines, due dates — everything needed to be explained in a simple and comparable way.

3. Decision-oriented conversion

The experience needed to guide the user to the final agreement without seeming forced or aggressive.

4. Lack of clear hierarchy

Previous screens presented important information without proper emphasis, hindering quick understanding.

Solutions

Discovery

The work began with:

  • Heuristic analysis of the complete flow

  • Identification of abandonment points

  • Mapping of critical moments (simulation → choice → confirmation)

  • Benchmarking with fintech and digital negotiation platforms

Key insights:

  • The user needed to understand quickly:
    “How much do I owe?”
    “How much will I pay?”
    “How much am I saving?”

  • The simulation needed to be more visual and comparative.

  • The journey needed to convey progress and control.

Delivery

1. New information hierarchy

  • Emphasis on the original debt amount vs. amount with discount

  • Visual emphasis on the benefits of the agreement

  • Clear separation between simulation and confirmation

  • Better organization of dates and due dates

2. More intuitive installment simulator

  • More visual interface for choosing installments

  • Immediate feedback when changing conditions

  • Clarity in the visualization of total savings

  • Reduction of unnecessary technical texts

3. Clearer user journey

  • Step indicator (simulation → review → confirmation)

  • Reduction of distractions

  • Clearer call-to-actions

  • Strategic use of white space to reduce anxiety

4. Consistent design system

Creation of:

  • Clear typographic scale

  • Componentization of financial cards

  • Visual standard for states (active, selected, confirmed)

  • Functional use of colors (highlight, alert, success)

5. Reduction of friction in confirmation

  • Simplification of the final summary

  • Clear organization of the agreement terms

  • Better readability for review before completion

Achieved Results

  • Reorganization of the financial hierarchy, increasing clarity in comparing the original value, discount, and installment

  • Reduction of cognitive overload at a sensitive moment in the user journey

  • More transparent and reliable negotiation experience

  • Better perception of professionalism and credibility of the platform

  • Structured visual base for future evolution of the system

Strategic Learnings

  • In financial products, clarity is conversion.

  • Visualizing savings drives decisions.

  • Less technical text = more trust.

  • Emotional experience matters as much as financial logic.
